Rosa Roca’s Designed In Color is a 2005 AMHR bay colt. He’s a full brother to Rosie (below). He carries the splash overo gene from his dam Rosa Roca’s Cameo and possibly a frame or sabino gene from his sire Bertrand’s Cisco Kid. Desi, as we call him, is a sweet, cocky little guy who is going to make a fantastic Single Pleasure Driving horse. He’s in training right now and showing great promise and tons of movement. He should mature around 35-36” and he is priced at $2000.

Rosa Roca Miniature Horses & Training Stable

Rosa Roca’s Run For The Roses is a lovely 2004 AMHR red sorrel filly with lots of chrome! She carries the splash overo gene and could carry the frame gene, as well. We trained Rosie to drive in 2007 and took her to two shows. She placed 3rd in a large class her first time out even though she’d only had a handful of drives at home. She’s a natural! We turned Rosie out for the winter and will soon be “tuning her up” for the 2008 show season. Rosie is fiery but well-mannered and is sure to make a wonderful show horse and later a fantastic broodmare to raise those good-moving babies. She is priced at $2500.

Vloedman’s Morning Star has been a wonderful producer for us. We are retaining her granddaughter, Cameo, and two of Cameo’s foals that will be on our 2008 show string. Star is getting up there in years (she’s 19 now), but can still produce quality foals for you. She’s open this year (our choice) and priced at the ridiculously low price of only $300.

Rosa Roca’s Sumpin Special is a 2006 AMHR bay splash overo colt who could have inherited a frame gene from his sire, Cisco. Special is staying fairly small and might mature under 34”. He is a full brother to Rosie and Desi (see above). He’s got a beautiful head, two blue eyes, and long, elegant legs. Special is bargain priced at only $300.

Bertrand’s Cisco Kid is a gorgeous AMHR non-fading black stallion. Cisco carries the LWO gene for producing frame overos as well as either the splash or sabino gene, as evidenced by his four white socks. He’s a beautiful mover who’d make a great Roadster horse and he passes on his movement as well as lots of color to his offspring. We are currently driving  two of his foals: Rosa Roca’s Run For The Roses and Rosa Roca’s Designed In Color (see above). Two other foals, Extra and Special, can be seen below. Cisco is only offered for sale due to the drastic cutting back of our breeding program. He’s priced to move at only $1000.

Rosa Roca’s Easter Extravaganza was born on Easter morning, 2006. He’s an AMHR light palomino who might well have inherited a frame overo gene from his sire, Bertrand’s Cisco Kid. Extra is out of Goldie, one of our favorite broodmares. This pretty little colt is staying small and should mature under 34”. He’d love to be someone’s pet or he’d make a nice breeding stallion to sire those valuable dilutes. He’d also drive when he’s a little older! Priced to move at only $300..   SOLD!!!!
